Inquiry term 2 report

For this terms inquiry i chosen this question because i will like to know more about sports.
My question that i have chosen to research is Should sports be compulsory for all students at school?
I wanted to research this question because i wanted to see if it's possible to make sports compulsory for all students at school. My four key questions are
1.Would compulsory sports help obesity in schools?
2.What should people do that don't like sports or fitness do for their health?
3.What is the benefits of playing sports?
4.How do you become a succesfull athlete?

My first question is would compulsory sports help obesity in schools?
Here is some of different information i found with my survey and also my interview.
Making all school students do a minimum of 90 minutes of exercise a week would address the country's high obesity rates, It would help overall wellbeing. Not just physical health but mental/emotional and social health.

My second question is what should people do that don't like sports do for their health?
I found some of this information from my interview.
Starting or maintaining a regular exercise routine can be a challenge, but a walk a day can help.
There are other activities that they might like and enjoy to keep them healthy and fit.

My third question is what are the benefits of playing sports?
I have found this information on a lot of different websites here is some information.
Playing sports gives children more than just physical benefits. Sports typically help kids academically and socially as well. Participating in sports improves your health in many
ways. Sports reduce stress and depression, sports will improve your fitness and weight goals. Sports helps you choose the right and healthy decisions.

My fourth and last question is how do you become a successful athlete?
I have found this information  www.phrasemix.com
it takes focus, it takes discipline, It takes self-confidence, It takes commitment, It take management, you have to be able to manage your time well. You practice for hours and hours each day, on top of school work, job and spending time with your family and friends. Every athlete is different we all have different ways of keeping fit looking after ourselves and keeping healthy. It is all up to you how you exercise and try be the best athlete you can be.

In conclusion, I think that sports should be compulsory in all schools because it will help the increasing rates of obesity also sports help people to focus and achieve better in academically.
